The Surfers Paradise STAND UP PADDLE BOARD experience

It is believed that stand up paddle boarding - Ku Hoe He?e Nalu in Hawaiian - was already practised by ancient Hawaiians. Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) was first seen in Hawaii in the 1940s. However, paddle boarding did not become a popular sport until 2001 when Laird Hamilton started SUP surfing. From 2001 until now paddleboarding has grown enormously in popularity, with SUPers all over the world enjoying their local waters (ocean, lake, bay or river) on a SUP. It is also an ideal way to experience the surfing feeling on waveless days.

SUP offers outstanding health benefits and is a miraculous muscle workout for the whole body. No matter how old you are or what your fitness level is, SUP is easy to learn and can help you get into the best shape of your life.

Your You can come to us for your first SUP lessons, lessons to prepare for a SUP competition and SUP trips organised by Surfers Paradise.

Every novice at our sports camps or lessons can already obtain a number of stamps at the basic licence.

If you want such a passport, don't forget to apply for it before the class.
