Eneco CLEAN BEACH CUP

It may have been very inclement weather at the annual Eneco Beach Clean Cup, but Antoine Geerinckx , alderman for the environment in Knokke-Heist and a keen surfer himself, together with a few other brave surfers, braved the weather to clean up the beach between Surfers Paradise and the Zwin. The result amounted to 320kg of rubbish, still worth getting a wet suit.
Fortunately, the loot and a hot drink afterwards made up for a lot.
