300 grabbing children at Surfers Paradise

A record number of 300 children came to grab eggs on the beach at Surfers Paradise on Easter Sunday. This in the company of a very enthusiastic Easter bunny.
Remarkably, they were neatly divided into smaller groups with their own time slot and each group had a chance of finding the golden egg...which this summer entitled them to a free surf lesson for the whole family.
Another special feature is that the children did not collect chocolate eggs but coloured non-edible eggs that could be exchanged afterwards for the real chocolate version. This way, no packaging ended up among the dunes and everything is just as neat after the grab as before.
