World Cleanup Day 2026

Let’s work together for a clean beach!

Retrieved from Sunday 20 September 2026 it’s that time again World Cleanup Day! Also Surfers Paradise is taking part in this global campaign with great enthusiasm. Together, we’re rolling up our sleeves to clean up our beach and keep it clean.

From 11.30 am to 5.00 pm We’ll head down to the beach to collect rubbish. Everyone can help: young or old, on your own, with friends, family or colleagues. It’s completely free to take part and there’s no need to register. Just pop along to Surfers Paradise and join in!

World Cleanup Day brings together millions of people around the world with a single common goal: to rid our environment of litter and work together towards a cleaner planet. And where better to do that than on the beach that brings us so much joy every day?

A clean beach starts with all of us. By making lots of small efforts, we can make a big difference together. So roll up your sleeves, bring your best clean-up vibes and help us make this year’s event another great day.

Will you join us?
