Hey Winter!
The summer of 2026 is over, but at Of course, the excitement never stops in Surfers Paradise!
As the beach starts to quieten down, the temperatures drop and wetsuits gradually get a bit thicker, we switch to WINTER FASHION. After all, there’s plenty to do by the sea, even during the winter months.
Refreshing surfing sessions, brisk walks on the beach, hot chocolate, winter sunshine, stormy days and cosy moments in the clubhouse… Paradise is here to stay!
Our winter opening hours
From 4 October we switch to our winter routine:
Monday to Friday: CLOSED
Weekends and public holidays: OPEN from 11.30 am to 6 pm
During the Flemish autumn half-term: OPEN
So it’s the perfect way to get some fresh sea air at the seaside at the weekend or during the holidays, catch the winter waves and then warm up in the cosy atmosphere of Surfers Paradise.

4 October – WINTER FASHION IS HERE! ❄️
Our winter schedule officially begins on 4 October. Summer may be behind us, but we’ll continue to enjoy ourselves by the sea. Wind, waves, winter sun or a proper storm: every kind of weather has its own charms!
November
– Dreaming of Easter?
Although winter has only just begun, we’re already looking forward to spring. The registrations for our Easter camps 2027 are about to kick off! Because let’s face it: what could be more fun than dreaming about your first surf camp of the new season while it’s still winter?
– St Nicholas is coming to Paradise!
We’re expecting some distinguished visitors on the beach again this year. St Nicholas and his faithful helper are bringing a good dose of magic to Surfers Paradise. A fun-filled family day full of wonder for our little ones … and, secretly, a little bit for the grown-ups too.
December
– Think Summer!
Apart from thick jumpers and hats, we’re already thinking about boardshorts and bikinis! The bookings for our 2027 summer camps are about to begin. So if you want to be sure of getting your favourite camp and dates, you’d better be on time.
And don’t forget: 2027 won’t be just any old summer… Surfers Paradise is celebrating its 40th anniversary!
