A sun-drenched annual Easter grab at Surfers Paradise once again lured many children to the beach and dune. There were 180 of them, accompanied by equally enthusiastic family and parents.
Divided into small groups, they could search for the 2,000! hidden eggs under the watchful eye of the Easter bunny each time.
No real eggs admittedly, but the collected loot was happily allowed to be exchanged for the chocolate versions afterwards.
As for the little ones, the Easter Bunny gave a helping hand, as they too wanted a chance to find one of the 4 golden eggs each time...After all, the lucky finders would then be entitled to a voucher for a free surfing lesson this summer !
Next year everyone ready again, but on Easter Sunday, last Sunday of the Easter holidays
