Traditionally, Surfers Paradise organises the annual "King of the beach" amateur beach volleyball tournament.
This is a tournament taking place on Thursday 15 August where everyone is welcome and where games are played 2-on-2.
Teams are divided into pools, play 1 set against each other each time, after which the winners contest semi-finals and possibly finals.
The winners will be KING of the beach!
