“Grommets” or simply “groms” is the name given worldwide to very young children learning to surf or standing on a surfboard for the first time.

On Sunday 31 May, Surfers Paradise will once again transform itself into a true Grommet Paradise. All children between 4 and 10 years are welcome for a fun and varied afternoon by the sea, packed with sports and games, exercise and entertainment.

Programme

• From 2pm to 3.30pm, children can take part in various free water sports activities, adapted to their age and fully supervised.
• At 3.45pm, there will be a social hour of celebration for all participants.
• From 16:15 to 17:30, an interactive and playful kid's show will follow, providing a fine end to the day.

Practical

The registration fee is €5 per child and is fully redeemable for a drink and four-hour snack.

Feel free to bring friends, everyone is welcome and everything will be provided. Please bring your own swimwear and towel.
