An unforgettable edition of the Eneco Clean Beach Cup is already behind us. At no fewer than 17 locations along the Belgian coast, thousands of people came together to make our beaches a lot cleaner.

Also on Surfers Paradise beach we saw how strong the beach community can be when we roll up our sleeves together. Thanks to the efforts of more than 2,200 participants, a total of no less than 3,000 kg of litter was collected. A wonderful contribution to a cleaner coast and a healthier ocean.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped protect our nature. With the first spring sun on the beach and so much positive energy, it was another edition to remember.

And good news: the Eneco Clean Beach Cup will also have a sequel in 2026. Make a note 22 March 2026 in your diary for a small-scale kickoff event on the beach of Surfers Paradise in Knokke-Heist. Later in the year, on 13 September 2026, will again follow the big Eneco Clean Beach Cup event along all participating Belgian coastal cities.

A small hint: in 2026, the Eneco Clean Beach Cup will again take place on both sides of our coast, with events on both the West Coast and the East Coast.
