The first spring weekend of the year is traditionally dedicated to a cleaner coastline. At Sunday 23 March it's that time again: the 16th edition of Eneco Clean Beach Cup! Since 2010, surfers, beach clubs, nature and sea lovers have been gathering to clean up the beaches together and send a strong message against litter. This year will be another great edition, and you can be there!
Litter on the beach is not only an eyesore, but also poses a serious threat to animals and the ecosystem. Plastic and other litter end up in the sea, where it lingers for years, harming fish, birds and even our own health. By working together, we can make a visible difference while raising awareness about the importance of clean nature.
