A beautifully successful day at the kick-off of the Eneco Clean Beach Cup on the beach of Surfers Paradise Knokke-Heist .

More than 200 motivated volunteers rolled up their sleeves and together collected a whopping 215 kg of waste, a result you cannot ignore. 

During a press event, all partners and plans for the coming months were presented. In addition, an exciting treasure hunt was organised for the little ones.

About the Eneco Clean Beach Cup
The Eneco Clean Beach Cup is an annual big beach clean-up with a clear message: less plastic and other junk in our sea! The beach clean-up action is a free event in which, together with several Belgian surf and beach clubs and the Cadzand location, massive calls are made to think about the plastic problem in our oceans and on our beaches. Together with these parties, the coastlines will be cleaned. The location that gets the most volunteers to the beach will receive the annual Eneco Clean Beach Cup. Each year, a different beach town takes centre stage as the main location.
