Important notice for all Surfers Paradise Kitesurfers, windsurfers and Wingfoilers
Dear all, as you know, we ensure that when there is sufficient wind, rescue service is also provided.
So we always have crew on standby keeping an eye on the sea while the jet ski is always ready or even already on the water.
You can help us by:
- Keeping an eye on each other on the water.
- To come and notify us as soon as possible if someone is in distress
- Just coming to report that you are going into the water
- ALWAYS notify us when you are planning a downwinder OR plan to sail to somewhere outside the zone for Surfers Paradise.
At low tide and sufficient beach, the launching area is large enough for kitesurfers. At high tide we ask you not to launch in front of our fence, but to move to the left or right where there is enough space to launch safely. Ditto for landing, at high tide NOT in front of Surfers Paradise !
Our zone is a recognised water sports zone, in official terms called the "insertion zone".
This insertion zone extends up to 1/4 nautical mile from the LAW WATERLINE. This is about 463 m.
At the end of the insertion zone, there is the coastal zone , which runs parallel to the coast to the left and to the right up to half a nautical mile from the LOW WATERLINE. So is about 926 m
From the coastal zone, you have the sea zone up to 2 nautical miles, which is 3700m.
Simply put: the break-in zone is where we play in and out of the surf and stay in front of the club every time, the coastal zone and the sea zone is where we are allowed to move away from the break-in zone and go out to sea for up to 3700m across the entire coast.
Important: we will keep an eye on the area in front of Surfers Paradise, if you go sailing left and right further out we ask that you bring a mobile phone in a waterproof case (on sale from now on Surfers Paradise) so you can call us in case of emergency.
Also don't forget to attach your talis 2025 to your trapeze.
